This was one of my dearest friends, Ron Holden. He and I and a few other friends were asked to open the famous Art Laboe's Oldies Club in Hollywood. Our backup band members were pretty famous studio guys, Ben Benay, Butch Parker, Toxey French, Mike Henderson and later my good friends Don Julian and the Meadowlarks.
